Maple Marinade Recipe
You will love this marinade using maple syrup recipe celebrating the great taste of maple. Adding Pennsylvania maple syrup to this recipe is the best way to put a sweet spin on marinades. Recipe Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Pennsylvania Maple Syrup
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger root (ginger and maple are great together)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon or lime juice
- 2 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce -- or teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2-3 lb of chicken, fish, salmon, trout, fillets etc
Recipe Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a large baking dish, combine maple syrup, ginger, lemon juice, soy sauce, pepper and salt.
- Place chicken or fish in the same baking dish.
- Cover, refrigerate, and let marinate 15 minutes.
- Turn chicken or fish and marinate another 15 minutes.
- Remove from marinade and bake as you normally would.
- Brush with the leftover marinade as it bakes.
