2006 Pennsylvania State Farm Show

Larry Hamilton of Ulysses, Pennsylvania and owner of PureMapleProducts.com, was awarded the Best in Show in the Maple Syrup Competition for his maple syrup at the show.

Hamilton placed first in this gold ribbon category. He also was awarded blue ribbons for his individual education exhibit and other maple recipe baked goods. His maple gift pack captured second while his light and dark amber syrup entries placed third.

Over the years Hamilton has laid claim to best of show maple syrup 3 times and premier exhibitor twice.

These awards reflect our goal at Hamiltons Maple Products, which is to produce and sell the highest quality Pennsylvania maple syrup available on the market today.

PureMapleProducts.com, owned by the Hamilton Family, has competed in over fifty competitions and has won over one hundred and fifty awards in the past five years.

We have twice been awarded premier exhibitor and best of show at the Pennsylvania State Farm Show. Other competitions have been won at various County Fairs and Maple Festivals where we compete and exhibit our maple syrup.

Hamiltons Maple Products has been in operation for five generations and has perfected the art of producing the highest quality Pennsylvania maple syrup products.

Every year we continue to compete at several maple festivals such as the Pennsylvania State Farm Show, the Potter County Fair, and the Potter-Tioga Maple Festival. These festivals are judged by top level maple professionals that are unbiased to any one single maple producer. When Pennsylvania maple syrup is judged ribbons are placed on each product acording to it's award placement. So when a product has an award ribbon on it, it reflects the quality.

Many other states such as Vermont promote blue ribbon winning syrup and syrup products when in fact every producer in these states receives a blue ribbon just for participation and only the premier exhibitor gets a special top prize.

Maple Syrup Fact

Maple syrup is made from the sap of sugar maples, maple syrup is a traditional topping for pancakes, waffles, and French toast It's also used to make candy, frostings, candied sweet potatoes, meat glazes, and baked beans. Don't confuse authentic maple syrup with the cheaper and more commonly used pancake syrup, which are based on corn syrup.
